Education:

 He obtained his law degree in 1996 and a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law in 2004. He has postgraduate degrees in reinsurance, management, strategic management and finance.

Experience:

He began his corporate life in 1997, joining the Legal Department of an insurance company in Venezuela, acquiring the position of Corporate Legal Vice President of such insurance company and other regulated business units of the financial group in that country. From 2011 to 2015, through his law firm, he provided legal advice on issues related to insurance companies, insurance companies, reinsurers, insurance and reinsurance brokers, in technical incidents of underwriting and indemnity claims in all lines of business.

Since 2016 from Panama, he has held the position of Director of a reinsurance broker, being Associate Surety Underwriter for a major A (Excellent) AM Best Rated Reinsurer, bond underwriting consultant for reinsurance brokers and advisor in structuring international fiduciary guarantee transactions.

Currently Executive Vice President of Priority Reinsurance Brokers Inc., Member of the Board of Directors of Central Financiera de Créditos, S.A. and Member of the Board of Directors of Priority Parametric Consultants, LLC.
